Curriculum Vitae

Cristina Morozzi works as journalist, critic and art director in the fields of art, fashion and design. She had been director of Modo design magazine for 9 years (since 1987 until 1996). She collaborated for several design newspapers and magazines, she is now contributor of Interni, MFL and editor of the blog The Moodboarders. She has been author of theoric and monographic books, such as those about Konstatin Grcic and Philippe Starck, “ published by “Il sole 24 ore cultura” (2011) and author of Terrific design, and Terrific fashion, 2014 and 2015 always for Il Sole 24 ore cultura. She has been curator of several exhibitions, as the design section of the first Biennale Giovani of Turin, 2000. She curated, together with Stefania Ricci, the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the brand: “Salvatore Ferragamo Evolving Legend, 1928-2008”, Moca of Shanghai, march 2008, and at the Milano Triennale, 2009. She curated “The sensitive soul of things” (“L’anima sensibile delle cose”) at the Triennale Design Museum. She was a design professor at the Ecole Cantonal d’Art de Lausanne until 2012. She was art director of the brand Coincasadesign from 2007 to 2009 and of the brand Skitsch from 2009 to 2012. From November 2010 until June 2013 she was the coordinator of the foundation Altagamma for which she organised the 2012/2013 the photographic exhibition at the Triennale in Milan, then in Shanghai “Altagamma Contemporary Italian Excellence” and she edited the volume dedicated to it, published by Rizzoli International. For Rizzoli international she published also Damiani, Italian Kitchen, 2014, and Moreschi, 2015). Since September 2014 to the end of 2016 she was director of education of the Marangoni school of design in Milan.” And from 2017 consultant of Istituto Marangoni (fashion and design) for several cultural activities, as lectures, blogs and visiting.
